Surrounded by rural countryside, a visit to the Drayton Festival Theatre offers a pleasant drive along quiet roads where common sights include farm-gate signs and roadside stands that will tempt you to stop and make an impromptu purchase of fresh produce, flowers, and maple syrup. Occasionally, you'll pass an Old Order Mennonite horse-drawn buggy that so eloquently reminds us of life's simple pleasures.
The Drayton Festival Theatre is a renovated 1902 Opera House, boasting wonderful acoustics. This former Town Hall has a rich history of entertaining audiences with the finest talent in professional theatre.
Located only 35 minutes from Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo, the Drayton Festival Theatre offers a scenic drive through rolling farmland and quaint villages.
When visiting the Drayton Festival Theatre, patrons can skip the line at intermission and pre-order their refreshments upon arrival. They will be waiting at a pre-determined spot, ready for enjoyment.

The Drayton Festival Theatre is proud to be a completely accessible venue. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodation to patrons with disabilities through our Customer Service Policy.
The Drayton Festival Theatre currently recognizes both the CNIB Card and the Access 2 Entertainment Card. Patrons with disabilities presenting valid cards from one of these two programs will be provided with a complimentary ticket for their support person, if requested.
The theatre has dedicated seating areas to accommodate patrons with disabilities. Service animals and support persons are always welcome. Complimentary infrared headsets for the hearing impaired are available at the box office prior to the performance.
The Drayton Festival Theatre is wheelchair accessible and is equipped with special seating locations. Please call our box office toll free to reserve wheelchair accessible seats at 1-855-372-9866. Patrons using wheelchairs are requested to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance. Complimentary hearing assist devices and booster seats for children are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Public Access Automatic External Defibrillators are located in the lobby of each facility.
Feedback about the delivery of services to persons with disabilities is welcomed, as it may identify areas that require change and assist in continuous service improvement. Such feedback may be given by telephone, in person, in writing, or electronically by email, on diskette, or otherwise. The Drayton Festival Theatre will make best efforts to provide a response in the same format in which the feedback was received.
Where possible, feedback will be addressed immediately. Some feedback may, however, require more effort to address and may need to be reviewed before any action is taken. A response will be given within 21 working days.
